SAL Program is associated with the Chicago-Kent College of Law of the Illinois Institute of Technology. Professors of Chicago-Kent College of Law were initiators of establishing such overseas programs for emerging markets. The program is based on Chicago-Kent's experience offering American Law studies in Europe since 1998. SAL successfully functions in different European and Asian countries. The School of American Law (SAL Program) is the first and only program in Ukraine to provide an LL.M. in just 5 or 9 months.
Chicago-Kent has a dynamic legal externship program, pioneering legal clinics, and award-winning moot court and trial advocacy teams. Chicago-Kent provides students with skills-based learning opportunities that prepare them to practice law in one of the largest legal markets in the United States and beyond.
The Center of American Law in Ukraine administrates and coordinates all the processes of organizing the SAL Program for Ukrainian students.
Among the graduates are founders, partners, senior lawyers from the TOP-50 law firms in Ukraine, heads of legal departments of international companies, judges, and successful lawyers who work in local and international law and consulting firms, as well as in the public sector in the United States, Europe, and Ukraine.
