Together with Chicago-Kent College of Law, we are glad to announce two interlinked programs of the SAL Ukraine Program for the 2022-2023 academic year:
- Pre-LL.M online;
- LL.M degree program based in Chicago, USA.
This is the first and only program in Ukraine and Eastern Europe that provides the opportunity to obtain a master's degree (LL.M.) in the United States🇺🇸 in just 5 or 9 months with significant benefits and discounts without the need to pass the TOEFL exam.
Lecturers of the School of American Law are one of the best legal practitioners, including:
- prof. Dana Wagner, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Twilio, former Head of Legal Departments at Google and Square (among 5 of the tech's most influential lawyers in the USA);
- prof. Edward Lee, Founder nouNFT.com, IP, NFTs metaverse Web3 crypto + Internet governance DAO, Harvard graduate, is one of the best IP law specialists in the United States;
- prof. Maurine Neiberg, IP Attorney, one of the best patent lawyers in Chicago;
- prof. Richard Wright, IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law Distinguished Professor of Law, one of the best professionals of tort law in the world;
- prof. Thomas Hill, International Business Transactions, vice president of a multinational corporation, businessman, and scientist;
- prof. Edward Carter, Former Illinois Deputy Attorney General, is one of Chicago's best criminal law professionals.
All courses relate exclusively to the American legal system and international business law. Lectures are held in the American style (Socratic method) with the active involvement of students.
Admission to the Pre-LL.M Study Program depends on candidates’ academic performance and English language skills.
Requirements for admission to the Pre-LL.M Study Program:
- Practitioner lawyers or licensed to practice law in the home jurisdiction, graduate law students regardless of age;
- Law students in their third or fourth year of undergraduate study (LL.B degree);
- State officials, judges, notaries, etc.
All applicants are required to submit:
- CV in English;
- Cover Letter (1 page);
- ️Copy of the Passport or ID;
- Copy of LL.B. diploma or university statement for LL.B degree students.

Deadline — August 15, 2022.
Admission to the program is decided by the Chicago-Kent College of Law of the Illinois Institute of Technology. All candidates will receive a decision on enrollment within two weeks from the documents' submission date.
Our partners in Ukraine are Ukrainian Bar Association, UCU Law School, Lviv Ivan Franko National University, Ternopil National Economic University, and National University "Odesa Law Academy".
